Basal metabolic rate (BMR)

Good morning my lovelies ❤️🖤❤️. Your basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the number of calories your body requires to carry out daily functions — and accounts for 50–70% of the energy your body uses. The more muscle mass you have, the more calories you burn even at rest. Physical activity produces heat in your body, called “thermic effect.” It’s the second largest contributor to calorie expenditure at 20%. There are approximately 3,500 calories in one pound of fat.

Chewing gum

Did you know chewing gum ( sugar free) helps to clean your teeth after meals? Chewing gum can help prevent tooth decay, as long as you choose a sugarless gum. Chewing gum causes your mouth to produce more saliva, which helps neutralize and rinse away some of the acid that forms in your mouth when you break down food. So, if you chew gum after a meal, you may be helping to protect your teeth and promote oral health.

Sunny and cold

Good morning to you is cold. But sunny. Feels good to walk in the sunny cold weather only I need to do a power walk to keep warm. Any plans for the weekend? 🖤❤️🖤
